Harry Potter Book Charms!!

Hii! You will soon find out that me and my sister have a bit of an obsession with Harry Potter, and yes I'm proud of it!
We're planning our second trip down south to The Making Of Harry Potter Studio Tour, and we got way too excited. It sparked some inspiration to make some home made Harry Potter charms.

I used polymer clay to make these cute little book charms. They make great little keyrings, or nice Harry Potter trinkets. I have mine on show in my room!

I made them with the side and back cover on so they really do look like mini books, especially with the pages, which I made by slicing the clay with a craft knife. I made sure to do them different thicknesses to make it look really authentic.

This is a great idea for a personal gift, especially since they are hand made. If you would like to see how I made these I have a tutorial on my craft channel, linked in the top right corner.

Pastel Acrylic and Floral Nails!

Hi! We've been doing a lot of floral nail art recently, and I've also been working on applying my own acrylic nails. I'm far from perfecting them, but I had a go at using colour acrylic powders and I ended up with these cute marble acrylic tips.

These are the acrylic powders I used. I love the pastel colours: pink, green, blue and purple. There is nothing better than finally being able to add a little colour into your style for spring after a long winter.

After finishing the acrylic tips, I couldn't resist adding a little glitter polish and some hand painted flowers to finish of the look. For this, I used acrylic paints and sealed the design with a top coat. I feel this design screams spring, colour and general prettiness! What's not to like?

Can you tell I'm excited for spring? (It's not like I've mentioned it already, right? :P)

If you would like to see how I did this I have a tutorial on my YouTube channel linked to the right. :)

Spring is here!

So the weather has finally started to get slightly warmer, nature is starting to look alive again, and I'm feeling very inspired lately!
Taking my dog for a walk in the pretty little village by me is becoming very beautiful, full of colour and lots of potential nail designs, which obviously excites us!
So, of course, we've been taking lots of photos of these lovely flowers, and as our first post, we though what better than pictures of the beautiful season of Spring!

The yellow and pink contrast in these are amazing, they are bold, bright and beautiful, perfect for a floral nail design!

These simple little flowers are so cute. I love how white they are, and they look very pure. Perfect for wedding nails!

You know its spring when the blossom tree is in bloom! This is just beautiful, and my absolute favorite of all the pictures I took. There are so many different shades of pink, and I love that there are still a few buds waiting to bloom, it makes painting this much more interesting!
